For the last 12 years as a management trainer, Ann has worked with all levels of staff, coached junior and senior managers, facilitated diverse groups and run a therapy consultancy to support many people to regain a life. This has resulted in a variety of speaking and media engagements throughout the UK and Europe on her specialist subjects of Stress, Resilience and WellBeing.
Ann does regular spots on various local radio stations and has featured in a regular ‘phone in’ on BBC Essex. Last year she was interviewed on Radio 4's Woman’s Hour by Jenni Murray, She has appeared in a documentary for Tyne Tees TV and was recently filmed for the BBC One Show.
As Chair of the International Stress Management Association, Ann is a regular conference speaker on Absence Management, Work Related Stress, Organisational Well Being and other personal and work related health topics.
She has a wide experience of people, places and environments giving her the opportunity to draw on extensive life experience as well as anecdotal case studies, to focus on the positive and how to get it.
As a research scientist, medical consultant, teacher, stress management practitioner, trainer, mother, wife (twice), daughter, dog owner etc………….she has many roles to reflect on and does so with humour and thought.
Her latest book is ‘The Stress Gremlins’ which takes an accessible approach to the physiology and outcomes of stress. The books provide many opportunities for readers to reflect and choose to change.
